Wall Letters!

I made wall letters for a friend of mine and have to admit they turned out pretty well.  I can't wait to see what they look like in her nursery.  They were very easy to make and pretty inexpensive too.  I bought the letters at Hobby Lobby half off, of course!  I used scrapbook paper and Elmer's spray adhesive.  I get an exacto knife and cut from the back with a lighting source pointed at the front.  This gives me the line to follow in my cuts with the exacto knife.  I will be make more for my nephews and sister soon!

I realize it's been a while since I've posted.  I have done a few hit and miss craft projects.  I found how to make your own chalk paint on a Facebook group I belong to and decided to try it out.  I have to say I was very disappointed!  I used acrylic paints as the tutorial suggested as well as using the amount of ceramic tile powder grout.  The finished product was much like writing with chalk on a sidewalk like we did as a child.  I didn't like the bumpy strokes then, and I surly do not like them now!  I bought commercial blackboard chalk paint and was happy with my end product.  This is what I did!
