Today I had to complete a special order for a client and I must admit I was a bit nervous. This is for a church who will be having a couples dinner and they wanted the piece to be centered around I Corinthians 13:4-10 I believe. We decided on conversation hearts and this really spoke to me for a couple of reasons. Mostly, is our conversations centered around the word? Is it normally mindless droll about things of no consequence? I know we can't always talk about scriptures but does our conversation at least have meaning to it? Does it help someone? I hope so...it may be to make someone laugh. Believe it or not, some people need to laugh and that's ok if your character is to be a "character"! We all feel better when we are happy and laughing, at least I feel better!
Secondly I had to open the scripture again to be able to create the hearts. Years ago I defined each word in that passage to gain a full knowledge of what God's love is and is not. I challenge each one of you to define the passage and take it to heart. May your Valentine's day be filled with God's love!
